Teah Arum
Being a diva-in-training is not easy. Just ask Hailey. With the help of her perfect best friend, her lovingly annoying little sister, and Rosie, her drama teacher with a mysterious past, Hailey experiences some life changing events (jealousy over her best friend, bullying at school, just to name a few) that help her learn the importance of friendship and family, and gain the maturity needed to grow into the diva she is destined to become. Through these experiences, Hailey realizes that dreams can come true.
About The Author
About Diva Diaries

Teah Arum is a young author residing in Rutland, Massachusetts, who is excited to be publishing her first novel at the age of 14. She has been writing since she was in second grade and really connects with her readers because she has recently experienced so many issues that young girls encounter.
Teah is a straight A student who other than writing in her free time enjoys hula hooping, cooking, baking, babysitting, sleep away camp, chilling with her family, and binge watching shows on Netflix. She's not nearly as laid back as Hailey, which is what made writing this book so much fun!
Author's Note
I started writing Diva Diaries in third grade. I was at my grandparents' house and was bored so I started writing a novel. Everyone thought it was so good and I continued to write it through sixth grade. In sixth grade, I felt discouraged to write because someone made me feel like I wasn't good enough. That never feels good. Diva Diaries remained untouched for two years.
In eighth grade, I joined a club called Nanowrimo. That stands for National Novel Writing Month. I had to write a 30,000 word novel in the month of November. That is 1,000 words a day for 30 days.
I still loved the idea for Diva Diaries, so I reread what I had written and totally reworked the whole book to what it is like today. It has been a really great journey and I am so glad that I stuck with it so I can bring you this book.
Try writing. I promise you, it is great. You know how people say that reading brings you to new worlds? Writing is so much better. When you write, you are a god. You have full control over everything that happens in your world. You can make anything happen. You are not just reading about different worlds, you can create them. So read and learn. Find different genres that you like and keep reading and getting ideas. And try writing. It has done wonders for me, I bet it will do great things for you too.
